National Education Speaker

In partnership with one of the largest national education technology companies, Joshua has completed well over 700 sessions to educators since 2019.

These sessions vary greatly in size and scope. Joshua has a gift to connect with educators in ways that very few can.

Below are some ideas for presentation frameworks but these all end up being customized to meet your needs.

Programs Overview

  1. Staff Development

Programs designed for educators. These are available in keynote & workshop form.

  • Why we do the work we do is a key element that only impacts our performance but our wellbeing while we perform our roles. During this session staff members will be reintroduced to their “why”. Through engaging stories and exercises they will leave inspired to embrace their work with a newfound passion.

  • Each school year can present new and unique challenges. During this session we will create our own school year survival kit. This kit will include self-care steps and strategies we can implement to ensure we are taking care of ourselves. Taking care of ourselves is a key element in us serving our own world with the best possible version of ourselves.

  • With the meteoric rise in mental health challenges with our students this has forever changed our role as educators. This increased burden has increased the need for an awareness of our staff mental health. This session will focus on the mental wellness and overall well being of the participants as well as their staff. We will look at individual routines as well as school-wide processes to build these capacities among our staff as a whole.

2. Focused Workshop & Keynotes

These sessions are designed for educators and school leaders around each specific topic.

  • During this collaborative and consultative session we will work together to build a strong SEL culture in your school. We will build a vision statement, define structures of support and put together an action plan that will deliver results.

  • Data continues to showcase for us that suspending or punishing our students simply does not lead to the intended results. During this session we will cover the core elements of restorative practices. This collaborative and consultative session will be very specific to your group. They will come away with an action plan to help build the restorative processes within your school. Processes that will lead to increased student success.

  • We have seen a rise in mental health related issues with our students. Thus, increasing the demand for us to connect with our students on a higher level. We will model and share ideas as we explore school-wide and classroom strategies to build a transformative culture within our school. Participants will leave with key action items to engage their students in this process as well as the parent & caregiver communities.
